Purchase and Sale
At Pure Gold Partners, we purchase gold from local miners and refine it for the international market. Although our gold typically reaches 95.6% purity, referred to as dore bars, it may not achieve the 99% purity standard. Rest assured, you can acquire high-quality gold at a competitive price in the East African region. Our minimum order quantity is 500 grams, with a maximum of 100 kilograms of gold. We can also source gold from other suppliers based on client requests.
Artisanal Minning
Gold production in Uganda and the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC) has experienced a significant surge. Currently, gold constitutes 30 percent of Uganda's export revenue and approximately 38 percent in the DR Congo. Given the widespread presence of gold deposits in both Uganda and the DRC, our interest led us to invest in gold mining. Today, we stand as one of the leading exporters and producers of gold in East Africa.
Safe Keeping
Gold Safekeeping is a customer-centric banking service designed to provide support during emergencies involving your gold jewelry. When a customer brings in their jewelry, all items undergo purity and weight testing. Subsequently, the bank issues a 'Gold Safekeeping Certificate' that includes descriptions, quality, quantity, market value, and the safekeeping fee. A custodial fee is applied for a 12-month period, after which the items can be redeemed or renewed for an additional 12-month period at the new valuation.
Smelting
The process of purification involves subjecting the metal to intense heat to remove impurities and burning dross. This laborious process is necessary because the metal becomes more valuable when refined and is used in various applications. The heat, straining off, and the overall refining process are essential for producing top-quality materials.
Assaying
We are recognized as one of the most reputable gold and silver assayers in the region. Our dedicated teams of experts adhere to the highest standards when testing precious metals. We consistently achieve a purity level of 95.6% with 23 carats. Our tests verify the purity at the current time of evaluation.
